The project was for the design, supply and installation of 3 no. 4000 kg/h steam boilers and associated water treatment plant, controls etc. at The Weybourne Building, Surrey.
New high pressure steam mains and condensate return pipework were installed to replace the existing unreliable unitary steam generating plants in neighbouring buildings. The project included the strip out and removal of the existing plant.
New low pressure steam and condensate returns were run from the new boiler house to connect to the new mains and to extend/adapt/replace the mains feeding the south and north east corners of the site.
New mains were installed to accommodate the new site roadway infrastructure and additional avian flu labs.
In addition to the above new energy meters and monitoring equipment were installed site wide to enable the client to manage and monitor his energy use.
